Dale’s Picks Week 4 NAFC: Back in the Game!

Written by Dale Walters and Adam Ireland

Hey there, NAFC fantasy football enthusiasts! First and foremost, I want to express my sincere gratitude for all the well wishes and support I received from you during my recent battle with COVID-19. Your words of encouragement and positivity truly made a difference during a challenging time. The good news is that I’ve tested negative for two consecutive days, and I’m excited to announce that I’ll be back in action to bring you the latest insights and predictions on NAFC football for Week 4.

El Paso Red Devils (1-2) vs. California Rebels (3-0)

The Red Devils (1-2) are up against the undefeated California Rebels (3-0) in what promises to be an intriguing showdown. The Red Devils, led by Anthony Richardson, Aaron Jones, and Chris Olave, are looking to turn their season around. However, the Rebels, with the likes of Josh Allen, Raheem Mostert, and Puka Nacua, have been unstoppable so far. While the Red Devils might put up a fight, I have to lean towards the Rebels remaining undefeated.

Prediction: California Rebels win.

Vegas Odds:

El Paso +3

O/U: 259.6

Rebels 51% chance to win.

Seattle Leathernecks (2-1) vs. Albuquerque Roadrunners (0-3)

The Leathernecks (2-1) are facing off against the struggling Albuquerque Roadrunners (0-3). With Tua Tagovailoa, Tyreek Hill, and Joe Mixon leading the charge, the Leathernecks have the firepower to secure another victory. Meanwhile, the Roadrunners, featuring Amari Cooper, Trevor Lawrence, and Bijan Robinson, are desperately seeking their first win. While anything can happen in fantasy football, I expect the Leathernecks to come out on top.

Prediction: Seattle Leathernecks win.

Vegas Odds:

Seattle -8.3

O/U: 244.9

Seattle 54% chance to win.

Austin Oilers (2-1) vs. Los Angeles USMC (1-2)

The Austin Oilers (2-1) clash with the Los Angeles USMC (1-2) in a battle of two winning teams. Lamar Jackson, Travis Kelce, and Keenan Allen have been impressive for the Oilers, but they face a formidable opponent in the USMC. Patrick Mahomes, Deebo Samuels, and Derrick Henry have the potential to put up big numbers. In what should be a closely contested matchup, I’ll give a slight edge to the Oilers.

Prediction: Austin Oilers win.

Vegas Odds:

Austin -4.2

O/U: 263.4

Oilers 52% chance to win.

Moscow Black Bears (2-1) vs. Burlington Boss Hogs (1-2)

The Moscow Black Bears (2-1) are taking on the Burlington Boss Hogs (1-2) in a game that could go either way. If Austin Ekeler is healthy, the Black Bears have a strong lineup with Amon-Ra St. Brown and T.J. Hockenson. On the other side, the Boss Hogs, led by Justin Herbert, Josh Jacobs, and Devonte Smith, have the potential for explosive performances. In a closely watched matchup, I’m leaning towards the Black Bears.

Prediction: Moscow Black Bears win.

Vegas Odds:

Moscow -17.5

O/U: 244.9

Black Bears 58% chance to win.

Atlantic City Aces (1-2) vs. Montana Wombats (2-1)

The Atlantic City Aces (1-2) go head-to-head with the Montana Wombats (2-1) in a matchup that could be a turning point for both teams. The Aces, featuring Davante Adams, Mark Andrews, and Tee Higgins, are hungry for a win. However, the Wombats, with Kirk Cousins, Ja’Marr Chase, and Kenneth Walker III, have shown consistency. I expect a closely contested battle, but the Wombats should come out on top.

Prediction: Montana Wombats win.

Vegas Odds:

Aces -8

O/U: 262.2

Aces 54% chance to win.

Des Moines Raiders (1-2) vs. Anchorage Commandos (2-1)

In the final matchup, the Des Moines Raiders face off against the Anchorage Commandos. The Raiders, led by Christian McCaffery, A.J. Brown, and Rhamondre Stevenson, are eager to make a statement. However, the Commandos, boasting Justin Jefferson, Jalen Hurts, and George Kittle, are a formidable opponent. This game could go either way, but I’m giving a slight edge to the Commandos.

Prediction: Anchorage Commandos win.

Vegas Odds:

DSM +12.9

O/U: 263.1

Anchorage 54% chance to win.

There you have it, folks, my picks for Week 4 in the NAFC. It’s great to be back, and I can’t wait to see how these matchups unfold. May your fantasy teams bring you glory this weekend!
