Week 5 of the NAFC season is here, and as the dust settles on the gridiron, it’s time for another edition of “The Commissioner’s Power Rankings.” With division records serving as the primary tiebreaker, followed by head-to-head matchups and points, we’ve compiled the rankings for all 12 NAFC teams. Let’s see who’s on top and who’s looking to climb the ladder.

1. California Rebels (Record: 4-0)

The California Rebels maintain their stranglehold on the top spot. With an undefeated record, a flawless divisional record, and a commanding points for/against ratio, they are the team to beat this season.

Points For: 540.7 | Points Against: 414.2 | Division Record: 2-0

2. Anchorage Commandos (Record: 2-2)

Anchorage has surged into second place, boasting a 2-0 division record, headlined by crucial victories over Albuquerque Roadrunners and Montana Wombats. They are a force within their division and are looking to challenge California for the top spot.

3. Seattle Leathernecks (Record: 3-1)

Seattle has carved out the third position, with their only loss coming at the hands of the Atlantic City Aces. A solid division record and key wins over USMC, Des Moines Raiders, and Albuquerque Roadrunners keep them firmly in the hunt.

4. Des Moines Raiders (Record: 2-2)

Des Moines holds steady at fourth, maintaining a balanced record. With key victories over El Paso Red Devils and Anchorage Commandos, they remain competitive. Their divisional win over Anchorage helps solidify their position.

5. Moscow Black Bears (Record: 2-2)

Moscow sits at fifth place with an even record. Their divisional win over Los Angeles USMC and victories against El Paso Red Devils demonstrate their potential. Consistency will be key for their ascent in the rankings.

6. Burlington Boss Hogs (Record: 2-2)

Burlington has showcased moments of brilliance this season, highlighted by wins over Austin Oilers and Moscow Black Bears. However, their 0-2 division record and losses to Los Angeles USMC and California Rebels have kept them in the middle of the pack.

7. Austin Oilers (Record: 2-2)

8. Montana Wombats (Record: 3-1)
