Dale’s Picks: Week 6, 2024

Record Last Week: 4-2 | Overall Record: 13-5

First off, let me apologize for my absence over the past few weeks. Life threw me a wonderful curveball—I’m now the proud parent of a healthy baby girl! It’s been a whirlwind, but I’m back just in time for Week 6 action in the NAFC. We’ve got some exciting matchups ahead, and I’ve got my eyes set on another strong week of predictions. Let’s dive into this week’s games, including the latest Vegas lines.

Moscow Black Bears (2-3) @ Atlantic City Aces (4-1)
Vegas Lines: Aces -29.7

Atlantic City has been rolling, and they’ve got all the momentum heading into this matchup. With Christian McCaffrey and Justin Jefferson leading the charge, it’s hard to see Moscow being able to keep pace, especially after a rocky start to their season. The Black Bears have been competitive but will be missing their star RB Isiah Pacheco in this one. I’m going with the Aces to cover easily.

Dale’s Pick: Aces

El Paso Red Devils (4-1) @ Montana Wombats (3-2)
Vegas Lines: Paso -13.1

Montana has been solid this season, but El Paso is coming in hot, despite their recent loss to Seattle. The Red Devils’ offense, led by Josh Allen, has been firing on all cylinders, and I expect them to bounce back strong this week. The Wombats will put up a fight, but I think El Paso covers the spread and takes the win.

Dale’s Pick: Red Devils

Albuquerque Roadrunners (3-2) @ DSM Raiders (1-4)
Vegas Lines: DSM -5.4

Don’t let the records fool you—this should be a closer game than it seems. DSM has struggled, but their offense has shown signs of life. Meanwhile, Albuquerque has been up and down, and they’ll have to work to stay in this one. With DSM playing at home and needing a win to turn their season around, I like them to win and cover.

Dale’s Pick: Raiders

Los Angeles USMC (4-1) @ Seattle Heist (2-3)
Vegas Lines: Seattle -7.3

This is a tricky matchup. Seattle has shown flashes of brilliance this season, including a huge upset over El Paso last week. But USMC’s defense has been stellar, and their 4-1 record speaks for itself. I’m going against the Vegas line here—I think USMC’s Tyreek Hill and Kenneth Walker will be too much for Seattle to handle.

Dale’s Pick: USMC

Anchorage Commandos (2-3) @ California Rebels (2-3)
Vegas Lines: Anchorage -25.1

Both teams are sitting at 2-3, but Anchorage has shown more consistency in recent weeks. Led by Patrick Mahomes, the Commandos have the firepower to overwhelm California’s struggling defense. The Rebels have talent but haven’t been able to put it all together. I like Anchorage to win big and cover the spread.

Dale’s Pick: Commandos

Austin Oilers (0-5) @ Burlington Boss Hogs (3-2)
Vegas Lines: Hogs -13.5

It’s been a rough season for Austin, and I don’t see things getting better this week. Burlington has been up and down, but their offense, led by Jalen Hurts, should have no problem exploiting Austin’s weak defense. The Hogs are looking to get back on track, and this matchup should give them the opportunity to do just that. Burlington to cover.

Dale’s Pick: Boss Hogs

Let’s hope for another successful week of picks, and as always, bet smart! Good luck to all the teams and enjoy Week 6 of NAFC action!
