THE NAFC FANTASY HALL OF FAME

The NAFC Fantasy Hall of Fame

“A Hall of Fame is a time capsule in history. It is the lasting legacy of players and contributors. The NAFC Hall of Fame is the pinnacle achievement of this fantasy league.”

The Origin of the Hall of Fame

The NAFC Fantasy Hall of Fame originates from the California Rebels Ring of Honor. As a way to incorporate the entire league and its achievements, the Commissioner’s Office and NAFC Board of Governors approved the formation of the NAFC Hall of Fame in August 2023.  The NAFC HOF is designed to serve as a lasting legacy to the players and contributors who have come and gone through the Yuma Scorpions/ NAFC league over the years. Additionally, the NAFC HOF serves as a time capsule to the league, preserving the history and moments of the most beloved fantasy football league.

Beginning in 2023, each August, 3-5 members will be enshrined as the newest members of the NAFC Hall of Fame. It is the decision of the NAFC Hall of Fame Board to decide what players get in, when they get in, and why they get elected into the Hall. To become eligible for HOF considerations, a player must be retired from the NFL, while a contributor (a team’s owner, coach, or general manager) must have completed four seasons of play in the NAFC/ Yuma Scorpions.

The NAFC Hall of Fame Board has a growing list, recording the achievements and accolades of every major player and contributor in the league since 2009. Because the league was established in 2009, the NAFC HOF only recognizes player stats from the 2009 season to the present. Any player who played prior to the 2009 season will have those stats omitted from their NAFC career statistics. The NAFC HOF emphasizes a player’s fantasy points production rather than basic playing statistics. A player’s career points production is a basis for enshrinement.

Teams who have players inducted into the NAFC HOF will be recognized under the “Hall of Famers by Team” section below. In addition to this honor, teams will receive a “golden” NAFC helmet decal for every hall of famer admitted to their team. For a player to be admitted to one’s team, a player must have played two or more seasons for a team and or won a championship with said team. Players can be admitted to multiple teams. If a contributor is elected to the NAFC HOF, the contributor will receive a custom Hall of Fame Jacket provided by the NAFC Hall of Fame and a NAFC Hall of Fame Mini Helmet. Both achievements are of high honor, an honor the league takes very seriously.
